Roles and Responsibilities
Social Media, Digital Content and Website Management:
Manage TAP's digital communication channels, including Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, X, and Substack, ensuring content is accurate, timely, engaging, and aligned with TAP's communications strategy.
Manage and maintain the organization's website by publishing articles from journalists and interns, updating workshop information, and ensuring all relevant content is accurate, current, engaging, and aligned with TAP’s communications strategy.
Draft, edit, and publish content for social media, newsletters, announcements, press releases, and other program communications.
Monitor developments and current affairs in Armenia to identify timely storytelling opportunities and develop relevant digital content.
Ensure the timely promotion and dissemination of TAP publications, including articles by interns and contributing journalists, across all digital platforms, including outside regular working hours when necessary.
Track and report on website, newsletter, and social media performance, providing regular insights and recommendations to improve audience engagement and reach.
Administration and Operations:
Coordinate TAP's day-to-day operations, including maintaining schedules, organizing meetings, managing administrative tasks, and coordinating logistics for workshops, events, and international journalist visits.
Coordinate all logistical and administrative aspects of TAP's international internship program, including onboarding, documentation, accommodation support, field trips, and day-to-day communication to ensure a positive experience in Armenia.
Research and maintain databases of key stakeholders, including journalists, editors, podcast hosts, influencers, and media outlets across sectors such as geopolitics, environment, technology, sports, culture, travel, cuisine, and business.
Procure office supplies and coordinate with vendors to produce branded materials (e.g., hoodies, tote bags, T-shirts, business cards), ensuring quality and timely delivery.
Program Coordination and Stakeholder Engagement:
Support the planning, coordination, and implementation of TAP's programs and initiatives in collaboration with the Executive Director, Global Director, and Board.
Coordinate workshops, webinars, and other events, including logistics, speaker coordination, participant communication, and promotional activities.
Develop and maintain TAP's International Alumni Network to foster long-term engagement and collaboration among former interns.
Contribute to team meetings, planning sessions, and organizational initiatives, providing ideas and operational support to advance TAP's mission.
Engage with local media outlets and other stakeholders to explore and facilitate collaborative endeavors with media organizations and relevant partners.
Source, collect, and curate diverse content about Armenia from relevant sources, including written stories, photos, videos, and multimedia materials, from content creators, local journalists, and reporters in Armenia to maintain the integrity and authenticity of the region’s narratives.
Requirements:
Education: A degree in a relevant field (e.g., Communications, Media, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related discipline).
Fluency in English: Strong written and verbal communication skills in English are essential for effective collaboration and content creation.
Social Media Management and Digital Content Creation: Experience managing social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and X), creating engaging digital content, monitoring performance, and growing online audiences. Excellent copywriting skills for social media, newsletters, announcements, and other digital communications. Experience with Canva or similar design tools is an asset.
Data and Website Management: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data management tools. Experience managing website content using a CMS (e.g., WordPress, Squarespace, or similar).
Multitasking: Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, with attention to detail and deadlines.
Teamwork: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural collaborative team environment.
Flexibility: Willingness to adapt to varying work hours as needed, particularly for events and international coordination.
Initiative and Self-driven: Demonstrates a proactive approach, able to take initiative, work independently, and drive projects forward with minimal supervision.
